Bass Boat Technologies is dedicated to creating new innovations for mounting GPS/Sonar units to their Boat Consoles. We think Anglers will look at Console mounted GPS/Sonar units from a totally different mindset than in the past.

After fishing the FLW Tour for three years as a co-angler and last year as a Professional, I rode in many different boats.  All of the anglers had the same problems with keeping their Console mounted GPS/Sonar units from moving all over the place in rough water and had to look thru or over their steering wheel to see their in-dash units. My goal was to create a new mounting system that was user friendly, rugged, and looked factory. After many hours of testing, the first Single mount unit was installed on Randall Tharp’s Ranger z520 and my z520 during the 2011/2012 tour season. The Mount performed very well and eliminated the old “Ram” mount system. Each mounting system is custom fitted for each type and size GPS/Sonar unit for that particular console and all mounting systems have an “Anti-vibration system” integrated into the mount. This system performed excellent in big water like Lake Champlain and other rough water lakes.

I noticed that there were many Anglers that had a 2 unit setup, 1 mounted in the console and 1 on a “ram” mount to the right side of the console. My next goal was to mount 2 units side by side on the console so the angler could see both units above the steering wheel, at the correct viewing angle, providing easy operation of the units. That is when the New Dual Mount system was developed. The new Dual Mount system also has the “Anti-vibration” system for each of the units. The system was developed for the new Ranger Z boats (z117-z522) type consoles and the new Ranger 520C Boat. I started with these because that was the model boats available to me for fitting the units.

The plans for the future are to develop the “Single” and “Dual” mount system for other brand boats also. The biggest hurdle is locating and being able to use other brand boats for their own custom fitting. I have had many requests to develop mounts for Skeeter, Triton, Legend, and Phoenix Boat brands. I plan to develop these in the near future. This system is not just a “bracket”, but a custom mounting system.

My lifelong passion for the outdoors has turned me into an avid fisherman. I have been very fortunate to grow up on one of the best lakes in the country. I am blessed to have a dad who taught me about the outdoors and introduced me to fishing as a child. God has given me this opportunity to pursue this dream and do what I love for a living. I have the best family support system. My parents have always been there for me to assure that I had the opportunities to do what I wanted for a living. I live in Benton, Ky with my wife Brittany, who is my best friend, and 100% behind the choices I make. We have two beautiful children, Brynn and Brady, who are our world. I can’t begin to thank my family enough for all their support.

I love to compete. The competition is what drives you as an angler. I am learning new things every day as each day on the water is different. Never take your time on the water for granted. Always remember the most important things in life are not things. Faith, Family, & Friends. Chase your dreams!

    God Bless,

    Brandon

    BIO

    Married: Holly

    Children: Brock

Education:BS-Agri-business, Arkansas Tech University 3.17 GPA

Biography: I was born and raised on a farm in NW Arkansas, close to Beaver Lake. There were three things that my life revolved around growing up on the farm: hard work, athletics, and the great outdoors. My father taught me at a very young age that the only way you can get what you want out of life is to work hard and be dedicated to what you have committed yourself to doing. I have tried to uphold these values throughout my life. In high school I was selected as an all-state player in both football and baseball. In college I earned the title as an all-conference defensive lineman.

Although I was involved in athletics my whole life, my true dream was to be a full-time professional fisherman. I knew once I graduated college I had to be successful at work in order to be able to afford to fish tournaments. I started with Tyson Foods, Inc. in May of 1993, 2 days following college graduation. I was promoted quickly through the management ranks and in April of 2000 I was promoted to the position of plant manager at the Randall Road processing facility. At 28, I was the youngest plant manager that Tyson Foods had at that time. During my last 6 years with Tyson Foods, Inc. I managed 500 employees in a fast-paced, highly-productive processing environment with a $31 million annual budget.

Through hard work, disciplined investing, and with the encouragement from an extremely supportive wife I left my job with Tyson Foods in February of 2006 to pursue my true dream and ultimate career goal of being a full-time professional fisherman. I have been truly blessed in life and I plan on carrying on these same values of hard work and dedication in my fishing career that have enabled me to be so successful in my previous endeavors.

  • Lake Fork Texas App

What is the Lake Fork Fishing APP?

The App is fishing "SPOTS!!" I have hundreds of hours on these spots and have chosen these out of many spots I fish. These spots will give you some confidence and help you get a fish in the boat. These spots are not small fish holes... All the spots are main lake not way up in a creek. One of the first things I learned on Lake Fork is stay out of the shallow water for Big Bass.( except in March and April) I have caught some of my double digit fish on these spots and a few big catfish on these spots. So spend some time on them. The double digit fish I have caught on these spots are one cast off the GPS position I am sharing with you. The videos in the App are from where I made the cast.

The objective of the App is to help you find fish faster and save you valuable time on the water looking for fish!!! You choose the season, water temp and bait selection!

The App was created by a fisherman, to provide new Lake Fork fishermen a place to start fishing when they get to Fork.  The App provides experienced Lake Fork fishermen another fishing spot. The locations have held fish for many years and have produced fish in all seasons. However, what time of year you fish each spot will make a difference!!! Your choice!!

  • Mark Rose

Rose Outdoors is the home of professional bass angler Mark Rose. Mark is known for his ledge fishing knowledge and is a 6 time winner in FLW competition.

Rose is considered as one of the veterans of the FLW Tour. He won his first Tour event and dominated the field at Pickwick Lake, winning by more than 5 pounds. Throughout the years, Rose has amassed a total of over $1.5 million in earnings and has finished in the top-10 over 30 times. 2010 and 2011 were banner years for Rose as he finished third in the Angler of the Year race consecutively. 2011 also marked a career-high third-place finish at the Forrest Wood Cup.

Rose is known as structure fishing master and an electronics aficionado, harboring several large GPS and sonar units on the front deck of his boat. Rose is also known for his love of fishing crankbaits on the Tennessee and Mississippi River systems – thus prompting on-stage references to Rose being a “river rat”. He believes that his versatility as an angler is one of his greatest strengths. As a former centerfielder for the Arkansas State University baseball team, Rose loves watching baseball when he’s not fishing. He also enjoys hunting and spending time with his daughters.
